According to the different cooling medium, the condenser heat exchanger can be divided into three categories: water-cooled condenser, air-cooled condenser and evaporative condenser.
Working medium of condenser coil:
The media of titanium tube condenser coils mainly include water, air, cooling water, refrigerant, etc. Of these, water is the most commonly used condensation medium because it is cheap, readily available, and can regulate temperature and pressure. However, water will produce scale and corrosion during the condensation process, which affects the heat transfer effect. When air is used as the condensation medium, it can be used as the heat transfer medium in the natural convection condenser to improve the heat transfer effect. It requires higher pressure and temperature, and is easily affected by the ambient temperature. When cooling water is used as the condensation medium, the temperature and pressure can be adjusted so that it can be smoothly transformed into liquid condensate in the condenser and is less prone to scale and corrosion, but it requires greater power consumption. Refrigerant is the working substance in the condenser. Common refrigerants include Freon, ammonia, etc.
